Starkey Expo 2012

As a result of being nominated for her excellent audiological services, on 4th January 2012 Mandy flew to Las Vegas to participate in the Starkey Hearing Expo, held at the Cosmopolitan Hotel on the ‘Sin City Strip’. The expo brought together 3200 hearing care professionals and leaders in audiology, business and science from all around the world – the first meeting of its kind in the industry.
The theme was innovation and the expo subjects ranged from business content to marketing and development; in addition to advancement in hearing aid technology, equipment and practices. Key speakers included Richard Branson, Bill Clinton and the vice-president of Apple Jay Elliot. Lectures ran from 8am to 6pm but the long hours were rewarded when Mandy was chosen to meet with President Clinton at the end of the conference; one of only 50 delegates chosen to do so!
