ABC Hearing was established over 10 years ago by dedicated husband and wife team, Amanda and Trevor Brady, and our commitment to continually improve the level of service to our clients has led to the opening of our five star hearing care centre in Uphall in 2005.
We also run regular clinics from The Edinburgh Clinic, a private outpatients centre in Colinton, working closely with ENT Consultants and G.P.'s. For clients who are unable to travel, we provide an excellent home visiting service at no additional charge throughout the Lothians.
Amanda has over 25 years Audiology and hearing aid experience in both public and private sectors. Her wealth of knowledge, expertise and the patience, care and support she provides to her clients is unique in Scotland today.
Qualifying first as an NHS Audiologist and then as a Registered Dispenser, by 1994 Amanda had progressed to the highest level in the NHS by being appointed as the Senior Chief Audiologist at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. For six years she managed the Lothian Area Adult Audiology Service, and was a key figure in its expansion and development.
For the past ten years, Amanda has enjoyed the challenge of fitting leading edge technology to hearing impaired clients within her own consultancy, and continues to develop her skills and services.
In 2009, Amanda was runner up in the UK Audiologist of the Year Award, being nominated by her clients. Her dedication, honesty and integrity, combined with her professional skills has earned her a reputation for being one of the top dispensers in the UK today.
By combining private sector products and technology with Amandas' extensive public sector training, ABC Hearing provides an unrivaled level of service. You will benefit from our caring and professional approach together with our expert knowledge of the very latest advances in hearing care and hearing solutions.
